The Silver Alchemist was born from a desire to provide an online store where people can choose a pair of sterling silver earrings for any occasion. We wanted earrings that were timeless, classic, stunning and versatile. We wanted you to be able to treat yourself, or someone else, to something special.

Sterling silver is incredibly durable. If you take care of your valued pair of earrings, you are sure to have these in your jewellery collection for years to come. We wanted to provide long lasting earrings to ensure that we don't become part of the 'throw away' economy.

We took some time choosing the name The Silver Alchemist. Alchemy is a medieval philosophical science that formed the basis of modern chemistry. It involved working with the elements, many of those being base metals, and attempting to transmute these into more precious metals such as gold and silver.

It was a time of discovery and transformation. A time where any idea was feasible and testable, both from a philosophical and scientific point of view.

Our logo contains the crescent moon, the symbol for silver in alchemy. We feel it represents knowledge, empowerment and creation. And a little bit of silver magic.

We are a very small Australian business based in a quiet coastal town in northern NSW. We are here to deliver what we think is an amazing selection of sterling silver earrings.
